Construction Details:

I purchased my base wig and clips at Acen 2013. I love this wig a lot, even if it might appear to be too pink at times. I made the bunny clip out of scrap white felt and hand stitched the face. I added a tiny strip on the back of the bunny clip so I could use a bobby pin to attach it to the wig. The bow was made out of scrap cotton and has interfacing inside. My necklace was a black tattoo necklace that I've had since I was a kid. The shirt was made out of black gabardine and white cotton (except for the bottom piece, which is bias tape). I added a large red button and stitched the white grid patterns on. The pins are made out of fabric and detailed with fabric marker (which I plan to switch out for real pins). My skirt is made out of red cotton, which is doubled over. I measured out and marked the plaid design on the skirt (before pleating), then stitched it on with my sewing machine. I wanted to go with a more subtle plaid design like in the game sprites. Sadly it doesn't show up very well in pictures, but it's definitely on the skirt. I made two ties using a boy's tie pattern and sewed them together. The tie also has lining and interfacing. I counted the number of bunnies and drew them on the tie after it got tied. The boots and shoelaces were bought on Ebay

Personal Thoughts:

I definitely want to improve some things on the shirt and remake the bunny clip.

Styling Notes

I added two curly clips to the wig. The clips were flat ironed just enough so the pigtails were longer and the hair still looked wavy
