Personal Thoughts:

I really hate detailed costumes. I mean, they look amazing later, when they're done. Like Celes for example. But I just lack the patience for them while I'm making them and want to rip my hair out.
I saw some people posting that they worked on their Sakizou costumes off and con for a year. While that would be easier, I just cannot manage that. It needs to be done as quick as possible or I get bored and angry and lose all motivation.
This right here took about 4 weeks, maybe 4 1/2. I kind of lost count after I had to wait for 2 1/2 weeks to get more of my 'toast' trim that looks like the criss-cross on top of pies. That was stressful. Didn't know if I'd ever get more of the trim I needed.
Anyway, so there's a lot of detailing going on here. The red needed to be added to the white sleeves and skirt, the brown skirt piece needed all of the leaves and applique' and all that 'toast' trim on the border, then the ruffle lace underneath. The green belt had to have all those apples which took forever to cut out, and then that needed trims... I was just swimming in trim.
I like how it came out. I just hate how long it took. XD
I also hate how my face looks in all my photos. I'm not blaming the photographers, the photo quality was great and this is all on me! But still, hating my face. Not sure if it's the wig, I was making derpy faces and not realizing, or I've just actually gotten that ugly, but either way going to try to fix that for next time I wear Apple Pie.
