Construction Details:

Everything made by me except my brooch, which is made by Windofthestars. The blouse was made with princess seams, and I uses pearl snaps instead of buttons. I thought I could see a slight silver ring in reference photos, and so far Part 2 is proving me right in choosing snaps. I decided that I wanted the white trim detail to be piping throughout and not just on the sides of the skirt. Which suddenly made the costume more difficult thanks to the acute corners in the cuffs and collar. The skirt was a modified pattern, and the waistband is made so it zips up OVER the belt which is looped inside. Ugh that was a nightmare to figure out.

My hair is actually my real hair styled and then pin tucked up underneath, since it actually reaches down to my butt.

My only change on this costume would be the tights, I wish I could have got the big diamond style rather than the small fishnet ones.

Personal Thoughts:

Man I really love the Bioshock series, and have wanted to cosplay from it for awhile now. I really liked Elizabeth's character but it wasn't until the DLC came out that I fell in LOVE. I absolutely love 1930's-40's fashion and couldn't hold back!
