Construction Details:

This was a pretty painful costume to make haha! I initially thought i'd create the whole costume out of satin, and have contrasting pieces, but once i started adding the contrasting vinyl I realized I wanted it to be a main fabric too.

I made a satin mock-up, then a real satin bustier, then made a vinyl mock-up once i realized I liked it in vinyl, then a final vinyl version! 4th times a charm? And that vinyl is on the thicker side which by the end of sewing the top my machine hated me, because at some points it became so thick to sew!

The skirt is fully lined, and was difficult due to the circles sheer size. A lot of te fabric falls to the back though, but there is A TON o f fabric in that skirt, so much so that my original waistband started unstitching due to the weight!!!

Personal Thoughts:

It was only a matter of time before I finally made a chii or freya costume! When I first started cosplaying I had several I wanted to do, because I've always admired the designs. I hope to create some other looks!
