Construction Details:

The outfit itself is simple. I already had experience making everything so it took me a week to make the entire thing. I did struggle with some portions of it.

A pleated skirt is pretty self explanatory. I don't make those often but I did. I always struggle with measuring out the pleats and stuff but it worked out in the end. I tried making the zipper hidden too in my own way and it kind of worked too? I'm glad that this twill, even though it attracts lint like crazy, is so easy to iron and the pleats say in place no matter what I did to it.

The inner shirt wasn't that hard either. I'm glad that I had the character sketch because I made it accurate to that. I want to fix the collar though because it isn't high enough so I'm planning to do that when I wear Kyoko again, which I want to! I added a breast pocket too so that I can put my phone somewhere. LOL

The jacket itself was the more complicated piece. I didn't have an issue with the body but the sleeves was my issue. The flared sleeves took me awhile to figure out and I was delaying it as much as I could. I kind of do whatever with one and hoped for the best. It worked so I just did the second. The zipper is functional still too. I'm glad it worked out the way I wanted!

Personal Thoughts:

Kyoko is one of my favourite female characters in the game. I loved everything from her personality to her being the ultimate high school detective. I wanted to cos her and since I managed to find the wig, I figure it was time to do it.
