Construction Details:

As usual, I don't really know what the names of techniques are or the materials I used. The only thing that I can say that it is different from most of my other costumes is that it is fully lined, fitted, and the side symbol was embroidered on, as oppose to painted or sewn on with fabric.

The pleated skirt I used was one that was recycled from my first cosplay that I made YEARS ago (I believe in 2004/2005). Very proud of that skirt since all the lines matched up. The only downside was that it was too long and I had lost a lot of weight since then. Luckily, the jacket was able to keep it relatively fitted and the rolling of the skirt was barely noticeable.

Personal Thoughts:

I put together this costume quickly to do with a group of friends after playing the game the first time. Debuted at Otakuthon 2013 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Love the game and characters but I especially loved the experience of cosplaying with a group, something that I usually do not do.

Like all my cosplays, I wish I was able to wear contacts for them since Junko's eye colour is extremely prominent. But, alas, my eyes do not stretch far enough to put contacts in, despite many failed attempts of the professional and non-professional variety.

Wig Review

I love the wig. It is easy to manage, and holds the waves well. It doesn't tangle easily and the colour was what I wanted.
