Construction Details:

I made the jacket, frog closures, undershirt and cut/styled the wig. It was very hard for me and I had never made a fitted outfit before. It was interesting figuring out how to do the trim. I wanted to use a brocade trim so it would be closer to looking “historically accurate” but the art definitely looks like it has lace. I decided to put lace over satin. I believe the white part of the shirt is supposed to be a very light pink- but I decided on white. I should have worn make up, I need to learn how not to be nervous and how to pose.

I was not too happy with the color of the wig and it was very thin. I used a marker to camouflage the white wefts so it would not be as noticeable. Also it was very hard to pick out a proper color for Uruki. Maybe Yuu Watase will finally make an anime so I pick the right color. ;)

Personal Thoughts:

This is my second costume and I loved making it.
