Construction Details:

This costume seriously took a me a bit longer then I thought it would be. All buttons and fabrics were bought at a fabric store. Everything is either made of cotton or PVC leather. The top was definitely the hardest and most time consuming only because the red lining was a pain in the ass to work with. The patches with the cross and stars were bought on Ebay and sewn in and the beads were from a craft's store near my house. Skirt was pretty basic and simple enough. It was mostly all about ruffles and gathering.

I've never made any thing bag-related so making the pouch was a new experience for me. It's not exactly the best so far, but I rather liked how it came out.

Shoes are a pain the ass. I never would've though that looking for plain red pumps could be so hard! Add to the fact that I need it to low-heeled to walk around in a con with and under 20$. I found a pair of low maintenance heels when I was shopping around downtown L.A, which just so happens to be near the LACC itself.

Personal Thoughts:

I had a lot of fun with this costume! Granted, I didn't give the top enough flexibility so I can actually move my torso around, but it was fun none the less. Not to mention Lenalee is one of those badass, butt kicking girl that I love to cosplay so much. I want to give a personal thanks to my great aunt with helping me out with the difficult parts. This costume wouldn't have been possible without her.
