Construction Details:

The belt and shorts are the same kind of fabric I used for Jolyne (i LOVE it and a nearby store has it in every color imaginable-- the only bad part is that the color tends to rub off on some things, but it doesn't really fade). The ribbons on the belt have two different kinds of wire inside to give it that floating effect.



I bought the gloves online for $2 and made them shorter and fingerless; they're actually only held together with hot glue, so I made two pairs just in case. I wish they were a bit less satin-y but I think they were ok in the end... I was going to make my own at first but hahahahaha no.



I bought the socks as well and made the legwarmers out of some stretchy fabric (finding that exact shade of purple was an adventure) and they're holding on with skin tape.



I made the top from scratch with some thick cotton-- it was my first time properly lining an outfit-- and I'm not entirely satisfied with how it came out. Looking back I wish I'd made it a bit more fitted around the waist.

Personal Thoughts:

I probably wouldn't have made this if we didn't have a group and I only wore it for 5 hours (and probably won't wear it again) but it was really fun wearing it with everyone.
