Construction Details:

The belt and shorts are the same kind of fabric I used for Jolyne (i LOVE it and a nearby store has it in every color imaginable-- the only bad part is that the color tends to rub off on some things, but it doesn't really fade). I bought the gloves online for $2 and made them shorter and fingerless; they're actually only held together with hot glue, so I made two pairs just in case. I wish they were a bit less satin-y but I think they were ok in the end... I was going to make my own at first but hahahahaha no.



I bought the socks as well and made the legwarmers out of some stretchy fabric (finding that exact shade of purple was an adventure) and they're holding on with skin tape.



I made the top from scratch with some thick cotton-- it was my first time properly lining an outfit-- and I'm not entirely satisfied with how it came out. Looking back I wish I'd made it a bit more fitted around the waist.

Personal Thoughts:

I probably wouldn't have made this if we didn't have a group and I only wore it for 5 hours (and probably won't wear it again) but it was really fun wearing it with everyone.
