Construction Details:

I made this costume on september 2005 for a french festival in Paris. It was the great " paradise kiss" fashion; the last manga had just been published a few months before the festival and Ariah wanted to do another costume of Yukari. I joined her as Isabella, as long as I love her style of dress inspired from XIX century gown, even if I was a bit sceptical about the fact of cosplaying a man travestite as a woman...

I choose 2 different taffetas for the dress and the bustle and black velvet for the collar and the hat. I watched in a historical book about costumes how the hell was made dresses and bustle; it was my very first time doing this kind of costume and I am quite happy with the result.

Recently, I made a photoshooting with Luciole as Yukari in a blue russian outfit from a very rare illustration, and Enelia wearing my Mikako costume. Enelia is also a great makeup artist, always volunteer to makeup her friends; she made my Isabella make up and I definitely love what she did ;)
