Construction Details:

The underdress consists of a light pink douppioni lined with cotton. Each sleeve has 7.5 yrs of lace that I hand gathered and sewed on. The jacket consists of pink satin and pink brocade. I made the wings on the front shoulder out of craft foam and gold spandex which I top stitched. The under corset is made out of a really gross fabric who's color I love but I have no idea what it is. Its very synthetic and once its ironed with a crease that crease never goes away. I also made bias tape out of the brocade for the corset (sooooo annoying). The crown is made out of a dixie cup, saran wrap, and plush filling which I then covered in fabric.

Personal Thoughts:

One of the most fabric intensive costumes I've made but I'm sooo happy with it! Those sleeves!!!

I still plan on making her staff. :D
