Construction Details:

Easy Peasy, you can buy the clothing at Wal-Mart.
Black Hairband and black curly wig. Horns were crafted with model magic and sanded/painted. Crab was originally blank that I picked up either at Hobby Lobby or Wal-Mart.

Personal Thoughts:

I personally liked the artwork done for the female version of Karkat that I located on Tumblr. The original post that I linked to isn't available on there anymore. I do have the artwork saved. I tweaked it a little by adding a purple crab hair accessory onto the band that holds the horns.

All in all it was a cute genderbend and it wasn't hard at all to obtain the correct outfit for the character and instead of getting a sweater I used a thin long sleeved shirt and wrapped a solid black scarf around instead. It blended pretty well together.

I first appeared in this during a local meetup and more recently used it on the last day of Anime-Midwest '13.
I wish more people were into character genderbends.

Wig Review

No problems with it and it's very easy to wash/handle, as far as long wigs go.
