Construction Details:

Red wool for the suit, 3 yards of white trim. Super easy peasy to sew. Bought the hat. Replaced the pom pom on it to match the giant, sparkly pom poms I found for the suit.

This costume reminded me how much I hate cutting & sewing fur.

Personal Thoughts:

So Saito did this one holiday drawing of Utena in a Santa suit & Anthy as an Angel. I remember seeing it for the first time ever when I was 14, on a collectible card & thinking the picture was really cute.

Over a decade later I found an excuse to make it since the Gaylord keeps it's holiday decor up through MAGfest <3
