Construction Details:

Another 2-day effort... I underestimated how difficult the patterning would be after I lost quite a bit of weight; the tailoring was a pain. I made all of the piping and bias tape so my golds match! I'm proud of that.

The buttons are fake; it closes via snaps. It's faced but not lined. The patches are a few of my flawed embroidered Scouting patches painted with acrylic and satin stitched on. The pants/belt are from regular Levi, and the boots just have a quick fake cuff made out of the same gold material. I made new pleather thigh mounts with foam wing cut-outs because my normal ones are heavy.

The mask was my first attempt at Worbla. I can say for the record that it's a very interesting material but everything's harder than the instructions imply. Ow my hands.

Personal Thoughts:

A ball-ready modification of the open beta promo Levi. JoAnn only carries one shade of dark blue and it was... wrong. So I just ran with it and added things as I went. My original design was so over the top it went sort of tacky. This is a nice medium, I think.
