Construction Details:

This was a bit of a monster to construct, since there are just so many parts and trims and fabrics and details. I painted all the lace I used to get the right colors, I did a lot of draping for the skirt, my ruffle foot got a ton of use, and I worked with this very pretty pearl-covered fabric that made an enormous mess.

Personal Thoughts:

90% of this costume seemed to be finishing it.

How was the wig colored?

unsure. it was more purple but the color could rub off.

Styling Notes

Had to learn to make one wig go as far as possible, since I couldn't match the color. So there's some teasing and tulle in there to fake some volume. I did get to play with curling a heat-resistant wig, which is okay I guess, but I think I prefer the cheap ones that can be styled with nothing more than a blowdryer and some hairspray.

Wig Review

I bought the wig used, and it was in a bit of a state. I will definitely say that it cleaned up way better than I would have expected, so kudos to Arda for restyleability.
