About this Costume
Construction Details:
The skirt is made from two different shades of tafetta. The panels are made from a third color and the embroidery is hand sewn on. The panels took about 100 hours to embrioder by hand and a ton of embroidery floss. They were finally then hand stitched onto the skirt.

The bodice was sewn with velvet with a twill backing. It was my first time using velvet and my first time making a boned corset. The straps are made from satin and I hand sewed the trim that lines the edges.rnrnr

For the wig, after attempting to put it in the actual Coronation Dress style and failing I decided to draw inspiration from the dolls(which is what my skirt is based off of). It is the combination of the Harrods doll, the Limited Edition US doll along with a few original aspects thrown in. I ended up having to restyle this wig 4 times. The wig cap is oddly shaped so I needed to style some pieces in the front to hide that.
Personal Thoughts:
Like many other people, when I saw Frozen for the first time, I fell in love with it. I loved both Anna and Elsa and I knew I wanted to cosplay at least one of them at some point. In the end, I decided to go with Anna in her Coronation gown because a. she has orange hair(always a weakness of mine XD) and b. her coronation dress is made less than her traveling outfit.

Wig Review
Originally I had given this wig a 4/5. However, since I had to restyle the wig, I had to lower it. This wig is very, very hard to detangle and there are a lot of fibers to the point that it is very hard to make everything look neat.
