Construction Details:

For the dress i used a costume pattern from Simplicity 4015 costume C. As for the wings I used white craft foam as a base and glued on goose feathers with Fabri-Tac ( make sure to place right feathers on the right side and left feathers on the left side, you can tell if a feather is right or left if you look at the length the strands from the center and tell which way it leans more to), into the shape that I wanted; which I marked on the table. As for all the butterflies i made them with craft foam and the one in the wig is attacked to a hair pin.

For the ears in the wig, I bought them and sewn them into the wig with fishing thread.

Personal Thoughts:

I think I was pretty successful with this being my first dress that I've ever sewn and considering that my shoes didn't come in on time, going barefoot worked out ok and maybe just a few touch ups should be made.
