Construction Details:

I used a butterick evening gown dress pattern (B5182) as a base. I didn't modify it too much. I made the flounce and sewed it into the side seam. The whole body of the dress is made with stretch cotton Sateen. The chest area is layered organza with the beads sewn on with a velcro closed neck band.
My favorite material I used on this was Tulip glitter spray! I coated the whole back of the dress in it for lots and lots of pizzaz that would make Sheryl proud.

I always wanted to make this dress, in fact I wanted to make this as my prom dress but I never had time to make it.
However, I attended the SoCal panfandom winter formal this year and I only had a day and a half since I returned home from university. So this dress was completed in about 24 hours so I had little time to go to the length of detail I would like.
