Construction Details:: PLEATS AND SPARKLES.

This costume was surprisingly fairly easy. I guess I'll start from the bottom up!

I followed the boot cover pattern provided by IchigoKitty and Katie Cosplay. These were my first boot covers since my first attempt back in 2011... I think I did pretty well!! The boot cuffs gave me some issues, though. I might remake them in the future.

The skirt. Ugh. Bane of my existence. I love the way pleats look, but I haaaate making them! :/ The skirt pattern was drafted by me and is nearly seam accurate! I'm quite proud of that factor.

The bustier was simply a bra I purchased online. I was making one, but it was not turning out the way I had intended. Oh well! I like my finished product.

The vest came from a commercial pattern that I altered to change the seams. It's one of the first times I had pretty much scrapped the pattern instructions to make something more seam accurate! I actually got pretty lucky with the pink sequin fabric. It didn't give me too many issues until the end.

The accessories were made from Casa Satin and Sculpy. The chains were purchased from Michael's and the hearts purchased on Etsy. they were a bit time consuming to make, but pretty easy in the long run!
Personal Thoughts:: PINK SPARKLES EVERYWHERE

I really adore this costume! It's nearly seam accurate, and another costume that's completely finished! :) Look at me, trying to up my craftsmanship even though I don't compete~

Styling Notes: Bangs trimmed, front parts straightened and back flipped out
Wig Review: Loooove this wig. It's been used for three Haruka costumes and still looks great!
