Construction Details:

My goal for this costume was to make it completely without any topstitching. I succeeded, minus one part on my sandals that I had to top stitch to keep the loop shut. Otherwise everything is faced and pressed for a solid, clean line. The yellow was custom dyed.

Personal Thoughts:

The bear had wanted to cosplay Samurai 7 for ages, so when I finally watched the entirety of the series I decided to cosplay Kirara. We decided to make these competition pieces, and managed to win an award for them when we debuted them.

A better photoshoot will be done in the future, I'm just glad to actually have a decent photo of the costume!

Styling Notes

Trimmed the bangs up about 3-4" into a blunt cut. Otherwise nothing else was done.
