Construction Details:

?~Dress~?
Made from high quality polished cotton. I patterned it from scratch and it was created brand new for this dress. Initially I had to wear 4 petticoats with this dress to achieve the volume but I might have to make my own since they kept deflating through the night because the dress was so heavy.

?~Hoopskirt~?
I made a hoopskirt by custom modifying a commercial pattern to fit under my dress. I made it because lugging arround 4 petticoats and fighting to keep them from deflating under the dress was too much of a struggle. It came together in one evening.
?~Neko-Mimi Headdress~?
I made a quick pattern for the base & Sephygoth patterned the ears for me. The base is made from cotton that matches the dress, it is lined with a stiffer rodeo cotton (since that's what I had arround), the trim is a chiffon ruffle, the tie is a ribbon, and the ears are velvet & casa satin.
?~Choker~?
Made from the same fabric as the dress and hand-ruffled lace. I patterned it from scratch and made it in about 2 hours before leaving for the convention.

?~Armwarmers~?
Made from high quality spandex. I patterned it from scratch and assembled them in about 1.5h. I plan on fixing them before wearing it again.

?~Bloomers~?
Made from basic cotton, they are fully lined & embellished with lace & ribbon. I used a commercial pattern for the sake of time and just shortened it.

?~Socks~?
I bought socks and modified them by adding nice lace & ribbon.
?~Shoes~?
I bought the shoes from Bodyline.
?~Contacts & Fangs~?
Fangs were high-quality mold-able petit fangs. I already had the perfect blue or purple (depending) contacts from pinky paradise.

Personal Thoughts:

Started watching Moonphase before DragonCon this year but didn't have time till after to finish watching it. I fell in love with the show & Hazuki (cute kitty vampire ftw) and with Bakuretsucon happening right after Halloween this year it seemed like the perfect fit!
