Construction Details:

The base fabric is mystery fabric I bought in Japan. The outer fabric is crinkled silk hand dyed to match the base fabric. I put in spiral steel boning to help the dress keep its shape. The sash and under bust belt details are made from extra fabric I had from my tudor costume.
I found the sandals 2 years before I made the costume.

Personal Thoughts:

This was a low-stress costume. A lot of the time on the costume was spent waiting for materials to arrive because I had to special order pretty much everything.

It's one of my most fun costumes to wear and surprisingly comfortable (with exception for the wig)

Styling Notes

The wig is an Arda Jeannie in Mahogany. The ponytail's clip was removed and attached to a Styrofoam ball and a fabric covered duck tape roll and the bangs are traditional hairspray and teasing.
