Construction Details:

The cosplay itself took me about a month to make. The dress is from scratch and all the ribbons on it were sewed on by hand. I'm not too happy with the bats lining the bottom so I might redo it at some point in the future. The white shirt was thrifted and I sewed on the black and red ribbon by hand. The broach is a ring that I ripped off the back for and then used fabric and ribbon to make the bat shape. The gloves, tights and shoes were bought. The bat clips are made from a bat from a necklace that has been painted and then hot glued onto barrettes.

Overall a very complicated cosplay but I'm happy that I did it because it was a great learning experience. ^_^ I think I can tackle much harder projects now. XD

EDIT: This cosplay finally got its con debut at MangaNext 2012! Added to it was a wig that was close to Haruka's and my sister added a bottle of blood necklace. ^_^

Made this for my sister for her to wear for Halloween and then for a con.
