Construction Details:

This costume is MAGIC! Every time I made an error or thought I would need to scrap this, the costume just wouldn't give up!

I found the perfect fabric after a late night run to Hancock's and then I bought out all the gold trim from not one, but TWO Joann's! The white corset was made entirely with jean fabric (I'm going to go back and add boning so that it stays more structured). The horn was a gift from Yaya Han! The back train was carefully sewn Casa satin fabric and attached with three beautiful diamond buttons. Wings were bought from eBay and then heavily altered with more feathers, glitter, and spray paint.

The wig was three separate wigs from Epic Cosplay that I cut up and resewed together. It was crazy, and my first wig-making experience, but I learned a lot and will be using this to assist me with making new wigs in the future.

Personal Thoughts:

Princess Cadence is my favorite pony from the new series. I love that her elements are love and compassion. She is a wonderful leader as well and has a lot of patience.
