About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
Most everything here is made from scratch. Everything that isn't (the boots, the belts, the wig, and the knives) has been significantly modified. I made my own patterns for the sleeves and skirt panels. Each skirt panel is cut and hemmed differently at the bottom, and I dyed the gray "bandages" of the sleeves myself. This was my first time making a bustier, and I think it turned out well. :)
I sewed bangs onto the wig & cut it shorter in the back & sides, glued straps & buckles onto the boots, shortened and added elastic faux belt loops and new holes onto the belts, and did quite a bit of work on the knives; I added 4 layers of paint (metallic silver, tarnish, light blood, rusted blood), bent and glued on circuit clamps for the end loops, fitted and glued together fake "broken" chains in said loops, and glued on frayed white handle cover.
A detail on my face that you can't see in these photos are her stitches; I hand-sewed stitch patches and attached them to my face with spirit gum over a stitch line, which I drew with a black make-up pencil.
I have also added a pleated ruffle around the top of the skirt, completely made from scratch. The pattern was also one that I created custom. A new picture with this change will be taken and uploaded eventually. - Personal Thoughts:
- I was looking forward to cosplaying this badass woman for quite some time! She's my favorite manhwa character, and one of my favorite general graphic novel characters ever. :3

- Styling Notes
- I cut the sides and back shorter and sewed on the bangs, plus added the clip-on ponytail in the back.
