Construction Details:

I used pattern Simplicity 0307 for the jacket, modifying the shape slightly and adding a hood. It's made from a peau de soie the girls got in LA fashion district. The fur trim is all handmade piping from a microfur fabric, batting, and lots of inhaled fur bits. The turtleneck underneath is a self-drafted pattern and made from stretch velour. TristenCitrine did the bottom ruffle for the 3 of us in the group with this top. I made it more snug to look more flattering than baggy like in the video.

The skirt is 2 tiers, each tier being 1.5 circles. It has the pink sequin trim and the blue ruffle trim. So much trim! I kind of ran out with only a few inches left to do, so I fudged it. I don't think it's too obvious.

I modded some white gloves from an old costume. There are 2 pettis and cheer spankies underneath the skirt. For the boots, 2 of us wear gray boots, but my Hanayo opted for us all to match with white gogos. I couldn't find any cute gray boots this winter, so white gogos it was! The fur trim is sewn to the thigh high socks so it appears to float on top of the boots.

Personal Thoughts:

I look like a fat pink marshmallow- sorry, not my favorite costume! xD

Styling Notes

I straightened the pigtails and reset them, higher. There was a bald spot on this wig, so I had to add some wefts as well.

Wig Review

I'm going to mark this one low because of the bald spot on one side. It was discounted, but not by that much nor was it mentioned as the defect.
