About this Costume
Construction Details:
Cost: $130 (this includes what I paid for the wig and cheesekun)
Time: 25 hours

I drafted the patterns for the blouse and 3 layer skirt with a little help from my awesome mother and for the waist cincher I modified a bustier pattern. The fabric is all 100% cotton; I used muslin for the skirt and blouse and a sports twill for the cincher. The top layer of the skirt I used a fabric marker to draw the lines on because I was unsatisfied with the plaid/checkered patterns that I saw at stores and online. I made the cheesekun plushie as well, but I am a little dissappointed with the way it looks, the hat most of all. One day I will either buy a commissioned one or just remake the hat.
Personal Thoughts:
This was actually the first cosplay I wanted to do, I used materials I purchased back in 2008! Code Geass is my favorite anime and I really thought this outfit worn by C.C. in the last episode was really cute. And I also thought it would be relatively simple to make.
I am satisfied by how this cosplay turned out. Especially because this is the first one I made entirely myself!

Not super good quality, but it was decent enough. It is suprisingly thick.
