Construction Details:

This outfit is probably one of the simplest, as any original design kid outfit is. Everything is essentially bought and put on as is, except for the symbol, which is hand painted onto the shirt. Alex and I talked for a bit about what colors we wanted the hair to be for each of us, if we should go with literal zodiac symbols or perhaps do lusii, and how we should go about translating the troll designs into kid ones. I'm sad to say that the glasses for Vriska didn't make it up to NYCC with me (I later found them under my couch) so I ended up using my own for lack of a better alternative.

Personal Thoughts:

This is a costume that Alex and I had been planning for a while. We always wanted to take the concept of "humanstuck" and turn it on it's head (a.k.a. reverse the stigma of it just being a troll cosplay without horns or makeup) by creating designs based off the kid's original motifs of all white with a one-color symbol.
