Construction Details:

Everything for my gumball costume was made from scratch and patterned by me other than the altered cape pattern, which was at the time unusual for me so it was a personal challenge i really wanted to take on. Cape is a really pretty cotton sateen with painted buttons, chain, and charm i created with a recycled pendant and crystal. Top is a tank underneath made from a silky sparkle gold fabric with a sheer gold SUPER POOFY sleeve tunic top, i wanted to get the sparkly gold prince effect without it looking cheap or super costumey. Pants are cotton sateen. Crown is craft foam and a brooch.

Personal Thoughts:

a great adventure time artist who gave us permission to make costumes based on their fantastic design! thank you pommerose! It was an undertaking and im glad we did it (Marshall Lee costume is also created by me)
