Personal Thoughts:

This costume project was handed to me by a friend of mine who approached me with a job offer and project. Basically he and a Honey Company is Saitama Japan were conceptualizing for a classic maid cafe and wanted me to be a model for the day as a mascot and advertisement for the project. I happily accepted and made this costume last minute for the event. It took me two days to make this, one whole day for the black dress and another whole day for the apron and headband. I am very happy with how it turned out despite the very tight time schedule. Since the company was looking for classic maids I based mine of actual black and white antique photos I found via google displaying maids of that time period (early 1900`s) It doesnt look it but this dress is actually VERY comfortable to wear, easy to move in, not hot and light. I enjoyed wearing it for this shoot.
