Construction Details:

Pretty easy to make. Velvet is surprisingly easy to sew =)

The dress is lined with a blue fabric from Joann's "silky solids" collection, and the chiffon trains/capelets are $1/yd fabric from Walmart that I bedazzled with Swarovski crystals!

Personal Thoughts:

I had some blue velvet laying around that I wanted to use for another costume, but it was a little dark for it, so instead I decided to try to use it for Anastasia's blue opera gown!

Styling Notes

Sewed on a bun to the ponytail, and trimmed the side bangs a little bit shorter. Put a bracelet over the bun for the dazzling "ponytail holder" accessory ;P

Wig Review

This thing is obnoxious to put on. It doesn't fit quite right, and could do with some wefts at the bottom of the neck, like "baby hairs", to cover some of my hair in the back. ;P
