Construction Details:

I honestly never thought I'd squeeze my ass into a Sailor Fuku. While I love Sailor Moon as much as any girl, I'm just not a twig, and didn't think I'd ever be bold enough to flaunt my cellulite. I ultimately had a friend literally beg me to do this costume with her Sailor Moon costume, so I agreed on one condition: it had to be the Eternal fuku. The Eternal design is my absolute favorite, so I figured if I was going to be flaunting my panties, I ought to be doing it the way I wanted to. In the end, I actually had a blast wearing this costume (my WONDERFUL boyfriend accompanied me as a stylish Human Artemis), and I'm sad that I was only able to wear it to two conventions before if crapped out on me. One day I'd like to remake this costume (and do it right this time!), but my planned costume list has gotten quite long, so it might be a while...

Personal Thoughts:

At the time, this was the hardest costume I had ever made, and it still remains one of the more challenging one I've done--I haven't worked with spandex since! XD
