Construction Details:

The skirt is a pleated circle skirt similar to the pattern I used for my Eternal Venus fuku, except I used knife pleats instead of box pleats. There is 1/2" horsehair braid in the hem to give it poof and body. The top is two pieces; an undershirt with sleeves, and the "armor" piece is worn on top. I made the armor piece by lining spandex with fleece so it would be slighly puffy. The shoulder guards are made out of coke bottles painted on the inside (awww yeah), which velcro onto the shirt under the armor. The bows were made using NyuNyu's patterns, which are perfectly manga-bow shaped!! The mask is made of craftfoam. The moon gems and broach I bought from WindoftheStar's etsy store.

Personal Thoughts:

FINALLY. ♥ I think I put this whole costume together in less than a couple days, except those days were spread out over a year and a half… oops! I've wanted this costume forever and I'm happy to finally have it finished!! Now to wear it somewhere other than my living room...
