Construction Details:

I designed the fabric for the skirts and ribbons and got them printed on spoonflower.com. The plaid pattern was designed so it would fit perfectly on a 2-3” pleat. The fabrics are currently available for purchase, and I created a tutorial for how to use them as well (download here: http://sparklepipsi.com/tutorials/SparklePipsi_LoveLiveTutorial.pdf)!

With the skirt and ribbon in hand, I'm able to cosplay multiple versions of the uniform just by switching out my top! I used a white long-sleeved blouse and a flower hairclip for the “Susume Tomorrow” version, and I've also worn a short sleeved white blouse + yellow sweatervest for the Summer Uniform. Just need to track down a navy blue blazer for the Winter Uniform and I'll be all set ♥!

Personal Thoughts:

To say I'm obsessed with Love Live is a gross understatement. I really wanted to recreate their adorable uniforms, but I I had always avoided plaid-type outfits because it's so hard to find plaids that match exactly ... unless you design it yourself!! So that's what I did; I designed the plaid for the skirts as well as the striped fabric for the ribbons, and got the fabric printed on spoonflower. I couldn't be happier with the result!! It makes it super easy to organize “uniform” groups of Love Live ladies too!

Styling Notes

I ended up thinning out the ponytail and trimming the bangs little bit, but that's about it ~ :3
