Construction Details:

*DEEPS BREATH*

I had such a hard time with this outfit. I've never had to edit a pattern so much or make my own patterns so many times. It was a HUGE challenge for me! Thankfully, I learned what NOT to do next time.

The leotard is made out of white lycra fabric and was made into one piece. I was in a rush at the end, so I didn't have time to add snaps. Thankfully, I didn't wear this long SO I didn't have trouble going to the bathroom. I will in the future as well make them one piece. Why? Because I make the armor not detached so I can take that off and then go to the bathroom. I was in dance - I've had to get out of MUCH harder things.

The armor, like I said, is detached and is made of lycra and lined with fleece. The sailor collar is attached to the armor piece

Both the maroon and the purple fabrics are satin from hancocks. I made the bow big in the front to make my chest look smaller.

The hardest part was the skirt and the hip roll. I think I redid the skirt 3 times before i got it right. I box pleated it because it flattered my figure better. I also made it detachable, but I didn't have time to find a good way to attach it other than snaps ( i hate snaps) so it kept sliding down (forgot to put safety pins to attach it).

The boots were found on ebay and painted with floral spray. Sadly, because of the heat, the paint chipped off a lot and will be fixed for the next wear!

Gloves were last minute and will also be replaced for next wear.

oh and hot texas weather that made me sweat off my makeup.

I was so happy to be invited in this group~ I don't usually get invited to do groups, so that was fun!
