Construction Details:

Made entirely out of fabric scraps left over from other costumes- the medium purple is leftover Starfire fabric, the light purple is leftover from Mio's Listen!! top, and the green scarf is from the Aisha costume I collected fabric for but never made. Even the pink tights and wig are from another costume- they're my Yoko thigh highs and my Joan wig! So this costume was a total of $8- the cost of the shoes. XD

Personal Thoughts:

I've been wanting to make Daphne for years, so when I pitched the idea of a Mystery Gang to Riki, she was totally on-board. With her help, I was able to convince Cliff to be our Shaggy (he adamantly refused my multiple requests in the past to be my Fred) and our friend Jerry to be Fred. Then Monika joined us in a corgi kigurumi as our Scooby because DRAGON*CON DRINKING GROUPS ARE SERIOUS BUSINESS.
