Construction Details:

One of my dream cosplays. ^_^ This took over 77 hours of work to complete and I loved how it came out.

Starting from the top, the wig is a Yu Kanda wig that I just styled slightly. The hair pieces are all just fabric. The one around the ponytail have interfacing in them to have them stay up.

The top is two pieces. A dickey underneath and an overdress on top. On the back of the overdress was my first ever attempt at embroidery. It's not perfect but it isn't bad for a first try I think. The ribbons on the front, I purposefully made shorter so it would be easier for me to walk around in. Didn't help much though since I ended up tripping on them while walking up a flight of stairs anyway.

Sleeves were also a pain since they were so long but they were also very fun to just flap around. XD Since I was dumb and wasn't thinking things through I ended up closing the sides of the sleeves before I put on the triangles which meant that I had to handsew on all of the triangles and the pink bias by hand.

The skirt was a bit of a pain as well since it was floor length and I had to carry it as I walked around otherwise I would end up tripping on it. The pleats also didn't stay in for the whole day sadly. If I ever remake this, I need to use a thicker fabric.

I made a pattern for the leg warmers by tracing my feet and legs. They have zippers on the back so I could get them on and off with ease.

Prop wise, I had a sake cup, a fan and a tanto knife.
