Construction Details:

I made this for a He-Man/She-Ra group for Dragoncon 2013.

I started out by making a purple cotton & leather bodice. The chestpiece was worbla, and sewn into place on the front. The shoulderpieces were also worbla, and the belt was leather with worbla details.
The tiara was heat-formed plastic with worbla details, and the gauntlets are leather.
The wig is from Arda and I dyed it lavender. The cape and skirt are dyed chiffon, and I beaded the lower edge of the skirt.
The pants and briefs were dyed miliskin, and the boots were modified wedge boots, re-covered in my purple leather with a worbla frontpiece.
The fun part was repeating the art-nouveau rose/vine motif through everything - with worbla details on the tiara, shoulder pieces, chest piece, and belt, and embroidery on the bodice and pants.

This costume was a collaboration between myself and my husband - we both did parts of each other's costumes (he was Bow).
