Construction Details:

I used Burda pattern 7697 and McCall's M6557 to make the dress. I pleated the fabric for the top before sewing it. The stole was made by hot glueing scraps from Dia's (super awesome) Ahri tails.

Personal Thoughts:

My boyfriend introduced me to Thrilling Adventure Hour because he really wanted us to cosplay as the super fabulous, perpetually drunk mediums Frank and Sadie Doyle. I fell in love with the characters and decided we should make their costumes from the (now available) graphic novel. The release of said novel was super close to Dragon*Con so I had to use the preview images as reference. I'm in love with these outfits, and it was nice for the boyfriend and I to dress up as a couple for once as opposed to mother and daughter. Plus, the drunker you are, the more accurate it is!
