Construction Details:

I believe the pink is symphony broadcloth and the black is some black cotton I had laying around my house. The costume is two pieces - the top was made using a tank top as reference and the skirt was made as an altered circle skirt. The waist band is used to tie the skirt on. The top has two layers...(Read More) embroidered cotton lace around the neck.
The tutu is strips and layers of tulle tied onto an elastic. The hat is made from beads strung onto pipe cleaners, shaped, and tied with a ribbon.

Peter's shirt was a Goodwill find. The neck ruffle is a thick cotton, possibly a bottomweight, closed with snaps in the back. Vest was a basic vest pattern, with double layered broadcloth and white bias tape. Shorts are made from cotton sateen, with an elastic waist and legs holes, as well as small stars.
We decided on blue as a group for Peter, since we thought it looked cuter!
