About this Costume
Construction Details:
The helm and crown were made with layers of craft foam with metallic gold paint for the floating part. The silver parts were silver fabric pulled over the craft foam and painted to give it more texture and dimension. The head piece snapped on in the front and was adjustable to fit around my face because I sandwiched wire on the inside. The rest of it was bobbypinned down.

The turtle neck was purchased and altered. The necklace was craftfoam, primer and paint. The shoulder armor was Camping Foam mats that were made out of Eva Foam that were cut and molded using a heat gun. It was then covered in the same silver fabric as the other gunmetal pieces of the costume. It attaches to the arm through elastic straps.

The bra is made from the same metallic fabric and EVA camping foam. With a silicone strap made to be covered by the shirt. The gauntlet and all leather pieces of he costume are made of thick pleather.

The 'butt cape' is made from soft duck cloth that I had to tumble a few times to make it drape nice. I wanted it to be a stiffer fabric so that the top of the cape had body. The belt and underwear were bought and altered.

The boats were spandex to the thigh and at the ankle were some extremely altered angle boot/wedges. I cut the toe out and used EVA foam to make the silver parts. Mostly I just wanted to be a bit taller because Claudette has some height to her over the smaller characters and the people in our group cosplaying the smaller characters were my base height.
Personal Thoughts:
Kapalaka asked me to join her Queen's Blade group because we've wanted to group together for a while. And also because she wanted to see me in a bikini.

Because of the costume I watched the anime and its super freakin hilarious. So thanks for introducing me to that.

I'd like to thank Ari for giving me this wig last minute because the original wig I was gonna use just wasn't working out. Thanks!
