Construction Details:

Not much to say! I didn't have a pattern so the whole thing was literally patterned through drapery and general memory of where the darts and gathers were supposed to go. I did every bit of construction besides painting the polka dots onto the apron, which I allocated to my roommate due to a serious lack of time.

Personal Thoughts:

Wow, talk about going back in time?? I originally cosplayed Suzy Q for the first time at NYAF 2009, back when this design didn't even exist. It was a little frustrating to see the anime colors were so RADICALLY different but hey! Nothing quite shows progress in your craftsmanship like making the same costume after almost four years, right? Plus, the lack of polkadots was encouraging haha.
