Construction Details:

I bought a plain white parasol in one of the Asian districts of LA. Then I carefully studied the design in an attempt to match as closely as possible to the original, wished for the best, and grabbed my paint brushes. Unlike the one from the show, the one I bought had the handle painted white so I had to re-paint that brown as well.

Personal Thoughts:

I started out well, but I got a little lazy toward the end so I'm a little disappointed with the centermost part of the swirl, but the rest of it is far more accurate than I expected I'd manage, so overall I'm very happy.
