Construction Details:

The pattern was purchased from RuffleButt Cosplay because I thought she nailed the shape perfectly and we had very similar measurements. After tweaking the sizing a bit to fit me better, I was off to start the real thing!

I followed the instructions on how to sew it via calgarycosplay on DA with help from a "Playboybunnyclub" on Yahoo!Groups. I wasn't really sure what I was doing other than I knew I wanted only two layers and bra cups on the inside.

The self is made out of interfaced satin and the lining was made out of black broadcloth because I had some on hand. There are quite a few boning channels in the inside with mostly spiral steel boning and a few flat steel boning because I needed some last minute boning and it's what I had. I used a heavy duty zipper, so it wouldn't break as I zipped it out because it was really tight. Also, I put two bra clasps in (the top and the waist) to help close it more easily.

The studs on the chest are just spiked beads, so I can remove them because I'm a cheater who wanted a generic black bunny suit. >_> Think of all the possibilities!! I was supposed to get a larger size for more of a mix, but it hadn't arrived until after. :(

Because I was sick for two weeks, I wasn't able to finish the rest of the costume up to my liking. The collar is just one ripped from an old blouse, the bow tie was a last minute one bought from a costume shop because the one I ordered off ebay hadn't arrived, and I didn't have time to finish my ears. At least I had a spiked headband on hand. :|

My wigs are two different wigs combined from cosplayanimewigs.com. One is the 33" heat resistant while the other is the 60" non-heat resistant one. I thought it looked more like Marceline because it gave me such a tiny head. lol

My teeth are scarecrow fangs that didn't fit properly, so I have to re-do that for next time.

Personal Thoughts:

Adventure Time is one of my favourite shows and bunny suits are one of my dream costumes to make, so it was a no brainer that I would to make Marceline as a bunny based off the artwork by mookie000 (tumblr)/animegirl000 (DA). *_*
