Construction Details:

I used Butterick 4343 for her jacket. I added the collar and sleeves and modified the bottom. Fully lined. The opening in the front is fake, I put a zipper in the back to keep the front laying smoothly. My first pair of pants are a JOKE. They're so awful. In 2015, I found an out-of-print jodhpurs pattern on eBay (McCall's 4960) and remade them. Now I have proper jodhpurs with pockets and a knife-edge crease!

Personal Thoughts:

Now that I've remade the jodhpurs, I think that this may be my best-constructed costume. I love it so much! And I am so happy that I picked the ONE OUTFIT of Asami's that lasted from the first season to the last! From her introduction to the very final scene in the series... ♥

Wig Review

In 2013 and 2014, I was styling this in Asami's season 1-3 hairstyle, with the loose curls held back by a green barrette. In 2015, I decided to update the wig to Asami's fourth season look. I covered a hair clip with a scrap of fabric leftover from her trousers/front panel of her jacket. I separated and twisted back a section of hair on each side of the wig, and fastened the entire mass with the clip in a low ponytail. (I didn't think it would all fit, but it did!)
