Styling Notes

This was the first time I cut two wigs in half and sewed them together. The short silver was Arda's Rocky and the black was the front of Epic's Punky (which I would never recommend for actual spiking...) I sewed the two halves together and then sewed two black wefts from the Epic wig under the black half. After that I styled and cut the black back and the spike part. Then I began the journey of the front hair line. I glued with fabric glue a stiff felt piece into the front. Later I started gluing pieces of hair on top. I noticed that the fabric glue worked well to attach the initial hair to the felt, but tacky glue worked better for gluing the hair to itself (and faster). After I glued all the black hair I wanted on I waited for it to dry and then added it to the spike and the sides using a hairdryer and hair spray. Then I glued the silver hair pieces on top. Once I had all the hair on I cut the front hairline into the shape I wanted (because it was a mess in the front). Then I hairsprayed the silver into the spike and sides and filled in any holes with more hair.
