Construction Details:

Gown was made from a quilted silk. It was constructed from an altered pattern. The dress was cut on bias to help with a snug fit. The back was laced up with grommets and a metal bone for support of the lacing. The trim was made from the same material as the second sleeve and the lace was actually spray painted to match the dress with 2 colors unevenly laid and then scratched whiles drying to make it look less matte and add detail. The crown was made from wonderflex and worbla. The jewelry was all purchased.

Personal Thoughts:

I love this character and all of her outfits. I decided to not go super accurate after a long long search for the perfect fabric to realize it might not be possible to purchase the exact fabric. I still had so much fun creating and wearing it and hope that I captured the essence of the evil queen.
