Construction Details:

It's just two colors of jersey made into a dress and shoulder band, and then scraps of it and a lavender/lilac crepe sewn into tubes and strung along the hem and sewed on--apparently Joann doesn't sell heat n bond anymore so I had to paint the cat on because the iron-on strips weren't working. I'm going to get some heat n bond off a friend and take care of that later, though. Paired with gloves and thigh highs I already had, and i got some new shoes and painted the sides a lilac color. It was too late for me to find colored shoelaces so I lightly dipped some white ones in dye and rather than coming out LIGHT they came out the same color as the shoes. Oh, well. I'll get some shoelaces later, but I was pretty impressed with how nicely they matched! It helped with subtlety.

Personal Thoughts:

This was a one-day project that I cranked out for a con with my beloved alpha kids (excluding our Jane, not that we wouldn't have loved to have her there). It's really comfy and for what little it is and for what pieces didn't go right since I made it IMMEDIATELY FOR THE CON (I can always fix it, though, right?), I was pretty happy with it!! Being Roxy is always a joy, she's probably my favorite character to be aside from Hungary.

Styling Notes

Curled around toilet paper rolls and then sprayed. Cut a few inches off, trimmed the bangs, and made the curly-q.
