Construction Details:

Jacket & pants - made out of twill, jacket has snaps that were punched in.
Cowl - I have no idea what the fabric is (found it randomly at my usual place to shop for fabric) but I liked how stiff it was and the color was perfect. There's no interfacing in it at all, it completely stands on its own.
Red waist armor/armor on jacket - same fabric as the cowl, waist armor snaps in the back and is hidden by the utility belt.
Utility belt - made out of a faux leather and interfaced, buckles close in the front. Has a detachable pouch that attaches with snaps in the back.
Boots - same tabi boots I use for my Sarutobi costume, armor is made out of the same red fabric and is tacked on (for the sake of being able to reuse my boots).
Goggles - bough and painted with gold rub n buff. Black lenses were replaced with green ones.
Gloves - bought and red armor bit attached on the top

Personal Thoughts:

I wanted to do another Korra costume & the Equalist disguise she wears in the last two episodes of Book 1 just looked really cool (that & I needed a costume for the Disneyland Halloween Party last year XD was actually a collaboration between me and another friend who was also doing an Equalist :> ). Didn't really get to wear it to a con until AX2013 but better late than never haha.
