Construction Details:

The dress is made of black sparkle casa satin and was loosely based on a pattern for a strapless dress with a train; I modified it to add the front overlap. The bodice is lined and boned, and the Bec symbol is appliqued on.

I wasn't happy with the color or texture of any commercial trim I could find, so I handmade 5 yards of green satin bias tape, an experience that was ultimately worth it but one that I would prefer not to repeat!

I had the glasses from my previous Jade cosplay, I already had black tights and the neon green flats were bought from eBay. I had fun doing my makeup to match and even did my nails too -- you can't really see them in the photos, but they are black with green tips and a sparkle topcoat!

I trimmed and styled the bangs and added Jade's signature spike on the top.
